Summer!

If you are reading this, you are likely one of the many professionals in Physical Education that continually search for information and ideas to improve your teaching practices. My hat is off to you. Our profession is always in need of those who are committed to reversing the downward trend of children's physical activity participation. This is the perfect time of the year to become revitalized through appropriate academic ventures (i.e. reading professional journals, websites or even attending conferences). In this issue you will find numerous ideas to help motivate your own children during the summer months but also your students when the year starts again. I hope you enjoy the information, however as my three year old puts it, "we need to go ride our bikes and get some exercise" so . . . don't forget to revitalize yourself through appropriate physical activity too.

Have a great summer!
