Spring Greetings!

This month's theme is Drug and Alcohol Awareness.  Physical and health education are allied fields that together should provide alternatives to substance abuse through education, activity, and social support.  Interdisciplinary physical education is an approach to physical education that readily suits special themes, especially one that already has natural links to health and wellness.

Happy Tax Day,

This section within the Interdisciplinary page is updated each month with a new idea from Jean Blaydes' book Thinking on Your Feet. This month's idea is called "CHOLESTEROL VOLLEYBALL". The idea behind this is to teach the importance of understanding the effects of high cholesterol by engaging in a game of makeshift volleyball..
