Welcome to the 7th Annual
Physical Education Activity Kaleidoscope Workshop

Join us on Saturday, April 28th, 2007 for the 7th Annual Physical Education Activity Kaleidoscope (PEAK) workshop co-sponsored by Central Washington University, the Washington Alliance for Physical Education, Health, Recreation, and Dance (WAHPERD), and PELINKS4U. We are also delighted to welcome Everlast Climbing Industries and Polar as 2007 workshop sponsors!

This year we have an exciting program for you in a NEW location. Our theme is "Physical Education for the 21st Century." We are choosing to showcase this program at the new Ellensburg High School. Ellensburg School District was a recent PEP grant recipient. Teachers from the Ellensburg School District will show you how they are using the new physical education facilties and equipment. You will have the opportunity for a "hands-on" experience of the newest teaching technology. Learn more about climbing walls and challenge ropes course use (and try them!). Polar and Everlast will also present on how to use their products. And finally, there will be additional presentations by guest presenters on a variety of elementary and secondary topics. Please see the full program for details.

PEAK 2007 will be a great day, especially if you combine it with WAHPERD's new Adapted PE workshop on Friday, April 27th with special guest Ann Griffin, National Adapted Physical Education Teacher of the Year. And of course there is also a Classroom Based Assessment workshop on Friday evening too!

Please join us on April 27th and April 28th for three wonderful learning opportunities and two days of professional enrichment.
