NEW Section Editors

Our "Adapted PE" section editors for this issue are Kristi Roth and Carol Huettig from Texas Woman's University. Kristi is the Project INSPIRE WebMistress and a 3rd year doctoral student in Adapted Physical Education. Carol is the Project INSPIRE Coordinator and a coauthor of "Principles and Methods of Adapted Physical Education."

Our "Interdisciplinary PE" section editor for this issue is Cindy Kuhrasch. Cindy is an assistant faculty member at the University of Wisconsin and author of six books on Health and Physical education topics.

Our "Coaching and Sports" section editor this issue is Steve Jefferies. Steve is a professor and Area Head for the Physical Education program at Central Washington University.  Steve is also the creator and ongoing editor for PELINKS4U.

This week we bring two new sections, Adapted Physical Education and Interdisciplinary Physical Education to our existing three sections menu.  Make sure and check out the NEW Adapted and Interdisciplinary Physical Education sections. 

As you can see from the menu bar above we are still planning to add additional sections in the near future. Your ideas are crucial to the success of this online magazine.  Contact us with information you would like to share with your colleagues.

  • First world conference on "Teaching Games for Understanding in Physical Education and Sport" to be held 1-4th August 2001.
  • Central Washington University and PELINKS4U sponsor the Physical Education Activity Kaleidoscope (PEAK) Workshop on April 7, 2001.  Located in Ellensburg, Washington, participants will be introduced to a variety of progressions for teaching activities ranging from Inline skating to Unicycling.
