I am currently a student getting my bachelor's in Health and Phys. Ed. I never really had an interest in teaching highschool and want to teach at a community college or a university some day down the road. Many people I have talked to have had different answers in what way is the best to go about it. What is the criteria I need for community college as opposed to a university (for example, do I need my doctorates for community college?). And also, would it be in my best interest to teach in high school for the experience before getting my master's? |

I can remember back when I was in college. If a professor never actually taught in the classroom, it was hard for me to respect him or her. There is nothing that beats hands on experience. Anyone that plans on teaching at a university level should have real-world experience. |
