PE2020 Contest: An easy take-home activity with a chance to win a classroom prize!
PE2020 is a website where students, parents and teachers are invited to submit their vision for the future of physical education in 500 words or less.
It’s a great interdisciplinary activity idea for your physical education class and is open to grades K-12. Have your students make a classroom submission for a chance to win a Walk4Life Physical Activity Pack of Pedometers now or plan for the fall!
Here’s How it Works:
1. Have your students write an essay (500 words or less) that answers the question "What does the future of physical education look like in the year 2020 and beyond?"
2. Ask your students to take their essays home and have their parents submit their essay online at www.PE2020.org Note: Parents should choose "classroom submission" as their entry type and complete the school information requested (school name, address and email contact). Also, parents should indicate the essay is from a K-12 student but use their own name and address for the contact information on the submission form.
3. One classroom will be selected at random to receive a Walk4Life Physical Activity Pack of Pedometers

Contest ends October 31, 2010. Winners will be notified in November.
There is no limit to the number of essays you submit!
Students, parents and teachers are also encouraged to submit individual essays for a chance to win an iPod shuffle® 2GB* MP3 Player. Individual submissions awarded monthly.
