URBAN PE CLASSES OF 50+: Looking for some advice or tips. I have MS classes of 50+ students and have half a gym. Any advice on management of student behavior or mass PE activities would be appreciated. Please share in the forum.
GOAL BALL: The game of goal ball is a great way to get intellectaul disabled students active in a phys. ed. class. Three players to a team with boundaries marked off with rope and tapped over so students will be able to feel where they are on the court. A ball is rolled toward the other players and the ball has bells in side of it so when it is thrown the players will be able to hear the ball coming. The point of this game is to stretch thier bodies out and stop the ball before it hits the back line. If anyone would like more informationplease reply, and I will get back to you. Thanks.

PLAYING MULTIPLE SPORTS: Do you think coaches should make special accomodations for their athletes who play multiple sports? So many times where I lived kids wouldn't show up to practice, but yet still play over the one's who worked the hardest. I don't feel that this is fair. What do you think? Please share in the forum.
PREVENTING ACL INJURY: Over the years, stretching or tearing of the ACL has become more common because the amount of people participating in sports has increased significantly. I believe that coaches and PE teachers need to stress prevention of ACL injuries more often. In addition to talking about prevention, what are some drills we can enforce in our everyday warm up to help prevent ACL injury? Please share in the forum.
PE TEACHER APPEARANCE:Do you think it is important for the physical educator and health teacher to be in good physical condition as an example for his/her students? Please share in the forum.
TATTLING Hey Everybody!! I need help with a classroom management question. I am new to the Elementary scene. I have taught middle school and high school for the past 5 years and what works for them, doesn't work for k-3rd grades. I noticed a lot of tattling among the younger kids. How do I get this to stop? Also how should I deal with it? I want to teach my students not listen to a bunch of kids complain about someone running into them. Help!! Please share in the forum.
STARTING AN ULTIMATE PROGRAM: I'm currently working on my bachelor's degree in Physical Education, and I'm starting to think about plans after my schooling is done. One of the sports that I am most passionate about is Ultimate Frisbee or more correctly called Ultimate. I would like to create a sports program or club for the sport at my future place of employment, but I'm unsure how to start. Although this sport is relatively cheap to run, there are still costs involved. Where would I turn to get funds for the program? Please share in the forum.
