INTERESTED IN CONTRIBUTING TO THIS SITE?
It takes a lot of time and energy to maintain a site like this, especially when it is all being done by volunteers. If you are interested in contributing to the development of this site here are a few suggestions for ways you can assist.
Link Checkers
Most visitors to this site are trying to find helpful teaching information. Unfortunately, links go down, change, or disappear. We need link checkers perhaps willing to oversee one or two sections, regularly check the links are working, and if necessary send corrections. At the very least please email us if you find a link not working. Thanks.
Link Contributors
Any time you find a new site that you think would interest fellow educators, please send the link together with a suggestion for the appropriate section placement.
Column Contributors
Our goal is to make this site a location educators can check each week for the latest news, events, and helpful teaching information. If you have ideas on a topic that you'd like to share, write them up and submit them for publication. The quality of the site depends on you and your contributions. Send ideas, comments, criticisms...anything that is not offensive and we will try to include it on the site.
Thanks for supporting this site. Please contact me directly with your ideas for changes and improvements.
Steve Jefferies*
* Dr. Steve Jefferies is a Professor in the Dept. of Physical Education at Central Washington University in Ellensburg, WA. This site was originally developed as a resource for his PE majors. Beginning October1999 the site was redesigned into its current monthly magazine format. The site now has its own server and is not connected to CWU. CWU does have an excellent masters level graduate program and plans to offer on-line courses beginning fall 2000. For more information visit the CWU Dept. PEHLS web site
