74 Days Until P.A.C.E. Trek Begins. Welcome Italy and Germany, the two latest countries to sign up teams for P.A.C.E. Trek 2008! There has been a lot of activity lately with team registrations. We're adding teams each week, and have thousands of children registered to take part in this inaugural P.A.C.E. Trek - which begins April 28th. No idea what I'm talking about? Please visit www.pacetrek.com. Preparations for P.A.C.E. Trek 2008 are going well. Currently, we're scheduling the locations that I'll be staying at each evening during the 18-day journey. I'm still waiting to hear back from some people that I stayed with during the 2006 run across America. I appreciate those who have already agreed to take in this runner for an evening. I'm truly looking forward to this 620-mile solo trek across Montana. There will be so many kids virtually running and walking with me. From Malaysia to Maine, Australia to Alaska, Germany to Georgia, Italy to Iowa, and so many places in between...children will be on the journey with me by adding up their walking and running miles around playgrounds, gymnasiums, local tracks, and more. It will definitely be a journey to remember. Take a moment to visit the current team profile! The "Flying Eagles of Penang" is a team of 3rd and 4th graders from Dalat International School in Penang, Malaysia. Click here for <http://www.pacetrek.com/profile.htm> their profile! Thanks for reading this milepost update. Please tell others <http://www.pacetrek.com/recform.php> about P.A.C.E. Trek so that we can have as many teams as possible signed up! Free registration is open through Friday, April 25! Gotta Run, Paul J. Staso |
