Editorial

The quest to develop skillful and healthy movers necessitates that quality Physical  Education instruction starts right from the early years of a child's schooling. Quality instruction has been shown to depend on the notion of "developmentally appropriate practices" which put the child and not the program at the center of our educational decisions. Have all PE programs been living up to this goal? The voice of the quality programs out there need to be heard !  Email us and tell us how YOU are contributing to our profession. Surely one day, through a global professional effort Physical Education will find its rightful place in our schools !
