CONFERENCE/WORKSHOP CALENDAR

 Editorial

By the time you read this "Elementary PE" edition at PELinks4U, some of you will have been out of school for a few weeks. I will just be finishing my year and will have completed another field day.

Get out and enjoy the summer, but don't neglect keeping up with the "New PE" and re-thinking your approach to teaching physical education. With all the current media emphasizing the new direction we are taking, let your community be a part of this rebirth of physical education.

Start a Unicycle club at your school

As a before, or after school program, this unique k-12 sport keeps groups of children occupied and active while providing overwhelming benefits. Unicycling clubs contribute considerably to the physical fitness and emotional well-being of the child through the enhancement of the child's self-esteem, confidence, physical fitness, balance, strength, and team spirit.

Add this sport to your school's physical education curriculum and see results. We have made it easy, and we have even found affordable unicycles that will hold up as one learns.

"Tomorrow is the most important thing in life. Comes into us at midnight very clean. It's perfect when it arrives and puts itself in our hands. It hopes we've learned something from yesterday."
