Are Children Fitter or Fatter?

A t the recent Cal Poly Elementary PE Conference, Arizona State Professor of Physical Education Bob Pangrazi reported that the commonly held view that children today are less fit than in the past is not true. What appears to be true is that children today are slightly fatter than they were 20 years ago. A full reprint of his keynote presentation may appear in a future edition of PELINKS4U. Previously published articles on this topic have appeared in JOPERD and the President's Council publications. |
