Thanks!Last
September, the PELINKS4U creator began planning for an expanded version that
would meet the needs of a much larger readership than had been reached to
date. If you had an opportunity to see previous versions you would
notice that PELINKS4U now sports a new appearance and seven sections in
addition to an archives section and a PE-Forum. As a result, readership
has been at an all time high. So, to Steve and those who have
contributed to these efforts, THANKS! I know I speak on behalf of many
readers in saying that the web site, while excellent in the past, has
developed to meet more interests of a larger population. This
increased readership has also been impacted by our quality volunteer section
editors. Again, a warm thank you to our section editors for their
contributions and future contributions. Remember that as
PELINKS4U and its editorial staff continue to provide you with information
related to our field of Physical Education, we can use your input. So
please, provide information to the section editors as you can. You can
contact each section editor by clicking on their names listed within each
section. You can also just thank them for their efforts if you would like to
contribute at a later date.
Finally, let's thank our PELINKS4U sponsors and organizations who are committed to supporting children's physical education.
One way to thank them is to go to their web sites and check out their
merchandise.

I have come to a frightening
conclusion. I am the decisive element in the classroom. It is my
personal approach that creates the climate. It is my daily mood that makes
the weather. As a teacher I possess tremendous power. . . to make a
child's life miserable or joyous. I can humiliate or humor, hurt or
heal. In all situations it is my response that decides whether a crisis
will be escalated or de-escalated, and a child humanized or
dehumanized.
